Who we are and what this service is

Espressisti is an independent directory that helps people find professional coffee-machine service companies in Europe. We publish information about companies; we do not repair machines and we do not act as an agent for any company.

We are never a party to the contract between you and a service company. Any quote, price, appointment, warranty or dispute is strictly between the two of you.

These terms apply to everyone who uses the site: visitors, people who send a quote request or a review, and company owners who claim a listing.

Using the directory

You may browse, search and use the information here to contact a company about a genuine service need.

You may not scrape, bulk-extract or systematically copy listings, use contact details for marketing or unsolicited messages, attempt to circumvent our rate limits, or try to access parts of the site you are not authorised to reach.

You may not submit false, misleading or defamatory information, impersonate a company, or use the site in a way that breaks the law.

Listings, claims and verification

Listings sit at one of three levels. Unclaimed listings are built from public business data and show only limited information. Claimed listings are managed by someone who has proven they represent the company. Verified listings additionally carry a check.

"Verified" means the company's VAT number returned a successful check against the EU VIES register — or, in countries not covered by VIES, that a business document was reviewed and approved by us — and that the owner has completed the profile. It is not a judgement about the quality, price or reliability of the work.

Claims are reviewed by a person before approval. Owners are responsible for keeping their listing accurate, and for having the right to publish the content, photos and brand references they upload. We may reject or reverse a claim if the evidence does not hold up.

Quote requests

When you send a quote request we pass it to the company concerned. On an unclaimed listing the request is stored until the listing is claimed, and is not forwarded anywhere in the meantime.

We do not guarantee that a company will reply, that it is available, or that any price or timescale mentioned on the site is current. We do not check the quality of the work performed.

Requests must be genuine. Sending mass, automated or commercial solicitations through the form is a breach of these terms.

Reviews and owner replies

Reviews can only be left on claimed or verified listings that accept them, by a person who has confirmed their email address. Owners cannot review their own company.

Reviews and owner replies come from registered users and are moderated before publication; we do not verify purchase of the service. Ratings and averages are shown only once a listing has at least three reviews from the last 24 months; older reviews are marked as dated and left out of the average.

We refuse or remove content that is abusive, discriminatory, off-topic, commercial, reveals personal data of third parties, or describes something the author did not experience. Moderation decisions are made by a person and can be appealed by writing to hello@espressisti.com.

By posting, you allow us to publish and display your content on Espressisti; you keep ownership of what you wrote.

Neutrality and how results are ordered

There are no paid placements on Espressisti and no sponsored positions of any kind. Manufacturer brands are treated identically and listed alphabetically; brand filters filter results, they never rank them.

Within a search area we order results by listing level (verified, then claimed, then unclaimed), then by profile completeness and recent reviews. The "How we rank results" page always describes the ordering actually in use.

Intellectual property and independence

The site, its structure, text and design belong to Espressisti. Company names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the companies and machines concerned.

Espressisti is an independent site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any coffee-machine manufacturer.

Liability

The directory is provided as is. We work to keep information accurate but a listing can be out of date, incomplete or wrong, particularly when it was built from public sources and has not yet been claimed.

To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for the acts, omissions, work or communications of the companies listed, nor for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove an account, a claim or a listing that breaches these terms, that is used abusively, or where the evidence behind a claim proves false.

You can close your account or ask for your listing to be removed at any time, free of charge, using the "Report incorrect data" link or by writing to us.

Governing law, contact and changes

These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
