Cookie policy

Espressisti uses only technical storage needed to run the site, so there is no cookie banner. Here is exactly what is stored.

Draft — under legal review

First draft — 21 August 2026

Short version

We use only the storage strictly necessary to make the site work: keeping you signed in, remembering your language, and protecting forms against abuse.

There are no advertising, profiling or analytics cookies. Because strictly necessary technical storage does not require consent, we do not show a cookie banner. If that ever changes, we will ask you first.

What we store

Authentication cookies — set only after you sign in, they keep your session active across pages and expire when the session ends or after a short period of inactivity.

Security tokens — short-lived values used to protect forms and sign-in against cross-site request forgery.

Language preference — remembers whether you are browsing the English or Italian version of the site.

Nothing is stored on your device before you interact with the site, and none of these values are used to build a profile or shared with third parties.

Analytics

No analytics or tracking product is installed today, so no measurement cookie or identifier is set.

If we add measurement later it will be a cookieless, aggregate-only tool with no cross-site tracking, and this page and the privacy policy will be updated before it goes live.

Third-party content: maps

Our maps use OpenStreetMap tiles. Those images are requested by your browser directly from servers run by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which means your IP address, the area you are viewing and your user agent reach the OpenStreetMap Foundation.

The tiles do not set cookies for us, and no request is made until you open a page that contains a map. The OpenStreetMap Foundation's own privacy policy applies to what they receive.

We do not embed video players, social widgets, chat tools, fonts loaded per visitor for tracking purposes, or advertising tags.

Managing storage in your browser

Every browser lets you view and delete cookies and site storage, usually under Privacy or Site settings.

Because the only cookies we set are technical, clearing them will not stop tracking — there is none — but it will sign you out and reset your language preference. Blocking cookies entirely means sign-in and the owner dashboard will not work.
